Amanda made our wedding cake for us for October 2, 2011, it was absolutely beautiful and for once in my life it was a cake I could eat. The cake was a piece of perfection, reasonable priced and delicious. The service was very professional and like clockwork. She gave us a time and she was there at the given time. Aunt Mandy's cakes are DELICIOUS!!!! One of the main things I looked for when searching for a cake baker for my wedding cake was Taste! Cake designs can be mastered, but I wanted my cake to Taste Good as well.....and Amanda mastered Both!!! Our cake was Beautiful! I would (and have) recommend her to Anyone looking for a cake for Any event!

Our beach theme wedding cake was WONDERFUL!!! People were in awe at how beautiful it was and even more importantly how delicious it was! So moist. I'm craving a piece right now! My wedding was on July 3, 2010. My cake is pictured under The Jenkins Wedding. My husband Scott and I were VERY pleased with our wedding cake that Mandy made!! Her prices are so affordable for the quality we got. It was so beautiful and so very moist! I had ordered the top and second tier strawberry which is Scott's favorite and The bottom tier was dark chocolate fudge. I don't know what the deal was at our wedding but as soon as my husband and I cut the bottom tier of our cake and shared a bite, there was a feeding frenzy at the cake table among our guests; so much so that Scott and I never got to try his favorite (the strawberry). Lucky for us we saved the top tier, but we have to wait a year to eat it :( LOL. Anyway, Thankyou Mandy for such a wonderful cake! Not only did we like it but our guests devoured it!! Thankyou for a great job done!!!

mandy will meet with you and bring cupcakes with different flavors for you to try. the price is great, the cake was awesome, moist and very flavorful. it was nice to taste before bying. i would recomend her to everybody. good work Aunt Mandy.

When I first contacted her about my wedding cake, she was quick to respond and helped me get a vision of my cake. She was easy to work with, even planning the wedding from another state. On the day of I couldn't believe how great the cake looked and tasted. I also asked her to do a grooms cake just before the wedding and she was more than willing. Aunt Mandy's cake was exactly what we were looking for. We tasted many local cakes, and Mandy's was easily the best. She was willing to try a new technique for the frosting, and it turned out even better than we had hoped. Our cake was stunning. She was even willing to try a new kind of icing flavor for us! I recently got married at my alma mater, Wittenberg University. I currently live in Cincinnati, so planning a wedding out of town was a bit daunting. After searching online for a cake baker in the Springfield area, I found Aunt Mandy's. From the very first contact I had with Amanda, I knew I had made the right choice. She was very helpful in deciding a design for the cake, as I had only vague ideas of what I wanted. I also was working with a pretty tight budget and she was very able to provide my husband and I what we wanted within our budget. She also made every effort to make the planning easy, even driving to meet me halfway between our homes to provide us with cupcakes for tasting. We decided on Red Velvet with 4 tiers with peals and swirly designs alternating on the tiers with red ribbon around the base of each tier. It was not until the I was able to see the cake and I was beyond impressed, as were all of my guests. However, the best part was that the cake tasted great as well! I have received numerous compliments about the cake and no one can believe that it was so affordable! I would highly recommend Aunt Mandy's Cakes to anyone and have already passed out her cards to several of my friends with upcoming wedding dates.

Mandy made a gorgeous and tasty wedding cake for us! We wanted something simple, classy and elegant and Mandy created the perfect cake. She cut and arranged the fresh flowers to decorate the cake - it was stunning! Mandy was also extremely easy to work with, very responsive to emails and calls, and priced so reasonably. I contacted Aunt Mandys Cakes to make a cake for a Bridal Shower. We communicated through e-mail and she always replied back to me in a very timely manner. She was very thorough and made sure she knew exactly how I wanted the cake designed. The cake turned out beautiful and was exactly what I wanted! The cake that Amanda made us was wonderful! I wanted something beautiful but simple and she delivered just that! Everyone raved about the taste of the cake as well, there was few left over pieces, so everyone enjoyed it! I thought it was extremely deliscious, especially the icing! Aunt Many's Cakes and More was so easy and wonderful to work with! I had tons of ideas of little details I wanted to incorporate into the cake's design and she nailed it... not to mention her patience with me changing ideas on a daily basis! What I found interesting is my guests not only raved about the beautiful design but how great the cake itself tasted. Mandy was willing to work with me so we could figure out exactly what I wanted. I know a lot of brides are sometimes confused about what they really want, and Mandy is great about asking the right questions. She is also very quick to answer any questions you may have. I wasn't there when the cake was delivered, but a couple of my bridesmaid were. They called me to tell me how great the cake looked, and said Mandy was very professional. Luckily she was on time, because I ran 45 minutes late. Overall my experience with Mandy was incredible, and I would recommend her to anyone who wants quality work with personal service.
