Big Daddy Walker Productions did a great job of filling in the gaps where we didn't have a clue. They found plenty of music that we loved when we couldn't find enough to fill in the time. They ran the reception extremely well, got people to be involved, dancing, and enjoy themselves, and overall made the reception a relaxing breath of fresh air. We didn't have to worry about a thing and could just enjoy our friends and family. When looking for music, try to find songs that others will want to dance to, not just songs that you enjoy. We found many songs that we both absolutely loved, but they were more fun to simply listen to on an iPod or a radio than to dance to at a reception. Big Daddy Walker Productions helped in this process, and found songs that we would never have thought of, but enjoyed nonetheless. They even took care of logistical problems that we didn't even know were there until after the wedding was over. In short, we were super relieved to have Big Daddy Walker Productions at our reception. We would do it again in a heartbeat and we have no regrets...

Big Daddy (Allen) and his wife Debbie know how to run a business! We had our first consultation at their home where I was asked to tell them how my fiance and I met and how he proposed. Big Daddy and Debbie wanted to get to know us as a couple first and then talk about what we wanted out of our reception. They tailored the music around what we wanted and played every single song that we had requested to be played. They cared about every detail of our reception and wanted to make sure that everything went as smoothly as possible. During our music consultations, if we could not come up with any music ideas, Big Daddy had a list of songs ready for us to listen to. Him and Debbie really helped make the music selection so easy. Big Daddy also plays a wide variety of music and really has a knack for reading the crowd and choosing the right music to play to either get the crowd going or keep their energy up. I never worried once during the reception about the music, I was able to dance and have a great time at our reception. If you want someone who cares about your reception and cares about making your reception your own, then you need to hire DJ Walker for your reception. Him and Debbie are a blast!!

I took way too long to write this review we got married 11-11-11 and DJ Big Daddy Walker and his wife Debbie were amazing. They made it the best night of our lives!! They were both quick on their feet and went with the changes. Had GREAT music!! People are STILL talking about our wedding and how we have to do it again every month. Wish we could afford to LOL. But for real this is the best DJ every!!! He was also our officiant, it was very heart warming and so nice. Very professional!!! I wish we could do it again I would recommend them 1000times over! It would be crazy to go with anyone else!!!

To make this crystal clear before I start praising Allen Walker (Big Daddy) and his wife Debbie, I want to point out that I am writing this review from Waikiki Beach in Hawaii! It's THAT important that I let any future brides and grooms (or people planning a party in general) how awesome this man and his wife were for my wedding. He deserves every extra bit of attention that this review can gather. First, I'm going to boast that I met BD and Debbie when they had a home office, before their fantastic service generated so much attention that they had to upgrade to an actual business location. BD told me over the phone that he felt that if his patrons were serious enough to have the kind of personal relationship with a DJ that one must have when developing an intimate party like a Wedding, then he should be able to welcome them into his own home for that planning to happen. From the beginning he and his wife were very professional, giving plenty of advice, asking tons of questions, and making sure that they had everything they needed for their role(s). They offered an extremely competitive price to my now-wife and I, and even bent over backwards to assist us in broadcasting some of the live music we had! On the actual wedding day, BD and Debbie were more that DJs...they stepped up as coordinators and gave us tons of feedback in directions for music and the events. I have never seen someone as talented at reading a crowd as Big Daddy Walker - he kept the dance floor PACKED for our 5-hour long reception. If the dance floor at any point had space for more people, it was because the crowd that had overflowed it needed a song or two to let their feet heal!! Big Daddy and his wife Debbie have all the same things any other DJ (should) have - online tools for planning music, quick correspondance, flexibility, great value for your money - but keep in mind that beyond that stuff he has an actual GIFT for keeping a party going, and even more importantly - he has an unbelievable heartfelt desire to make your event as perfect as possible, and you will be amazed at how sincerely he works to make your dreams a reality on your special day.

I first met Big Daddy Walker at a bar when he was doing karaoke one night. My friends and I had so much fun with Allen and sang all night long. He blew every other karaoke DJ I had ever seen before right out of the water. A few months later my then boyfriend proposed to me and I quickly began planning. I didnt have to think at all about who I wanted as the DJ at the reception, I immediately thought back to that night singing karaoke at the bar and knew Big Daddy Walker was the one I wanted. We set up a meeting and got to work right away. He and his wife are so sweet and are really helpful when planning the event. Not only do they ask questions about the wedding and reception but they asked about me and my husband so they could get to know us better and find what really suited us and our personalities. The website makes planning very easy and they are easily accessable if you have a question or need help. The night of my wedding reception was and will always be one of the best nights of my life. BDW made the night so much fun and everyone had such a great time. I received many compliments on how awesome the DJ was and how much fun they had with him. Not only would I recommend Big Daddy Walker Productions to anyone that is looking, but I kind of wish I could get married again so I could repeat the awesome night he helped create!

I contacted BDW Productions maybe only a month before my wedding because the DJ I had booked was falling through. I was a very scatter brained bride by this time. BDW was very fast at responding to any phone call or email. After meeting Allen & Deb my stress was gone! They are a very nice couple! It is obvious they love what they do. I just knew everything was going to be great, and it was! BDW is very personable and took on more roles than just a DJ making our day a success and very memorable!

I did not have a clue as to who to pick for a DJ for my reception and ended up making a post on Face Book to get a feel for who everyone had used. My husband's cousin came back and mentioned the name "Big Daddy Walker". I looked them up on the internet and gave them a call. After sitting down with Big Daddy Walker and talking for about 30 minutes, I looked at my maid of honor and said this is the guy I want for my DJ. I had not even met with any other one , but already knew I was picking them. They were so easy going and I enjoyed just sitting there and talking to them. They are great with people, personable and truly just enjoyed their company. I went to see Big Daddy Walker with my maid of honor due to my husband being deployed in Afghanistan. I have truly never met a vender, much less people who are more sympathetic and respective of our men in uniform. They were great at making sure everything was planned as well and made sure to keep in contact with me the whole way. Their web site for planning was truly amazing! I never once felt like I could never get in touch with them, and I always got a quick reply. The night of my reception was awesome! Big Daddy Walker more than listened to what we wanted played, he knew exactly what we would want without telling him. He helped me to pull off a cake and garter gag on my husband. It could not have gone over any better! He is great under pressure and I don't think there is anything he cannot do! This is a DJ not only with the professionalism and talent, but the heart and kindness and great personality to go with it! Their compassion for our men uniform is so amazing as well! I promise you will not go wrong choosing Big Daddy Walker as your DJ. They were my first vender I talked to, and I did not need to look any farther!

Well, I am not sure where to start on this, so I guess the beginning is the best. We met Allen and Debbie for the first time during our initial consultation. We left with our mouths dragging on the ground. We sat with them and started to talk about what we wanted, etc. They then asked us a bunch of questions about us, our likes, dislikes, where we met, etc. This was something we never expected. They made it personal and REALLY cared about us and making that day special. They were not the first DJ service we talked to, but when we left we knew who we were using. We could not believe how they made this so personal and cared so much, and let me tell you, it showed the entire time we were with them. They were incredible in helping us figure out what music we wanted for each phase of the wedding. They knew what would work and not work. We ended up using all their suggestions because they were prefect and made too much sense. Our ceremony was outside with the reception inside. They got there, set up for the outside and moved to the inside without us even knowing they were there. We walked up to the stand and there was a microphone. We walked into the reception and music was playing. They were beyond professional. The music was great and played at a perfect volume. Now, to go onto one of Allen's biggest strengths. After dinner he was trying to get people to dance. Apparently we have lame friends :) because no one would dance. That DID NOT stop Allen and Debbie. They kept at it, found what people wanted and the next thing we knew, just about everyone was dancing and having a blast. They both have a gift for reading people and a crowd to see what will motivate them. I could not have been happier when near the end of the night both Allen and Debbie came out and danced. It was like they were friends, not a hired service. I would never be able to write enough positive about Big Daddy Walker Productions. We COULD NOT have picked a better DJ to play on our special day. I would recommend them to anyone who needs a DJ for any occasion. By the way, a good cigar to Allen makes him even happier :)

We hired big daddy walker productions for a surprise 50th birthday. From the beginning they were very prompt in their responses. There were very personable and professional as well during each conversation we had. Allen was very knowledgeable and in tune to exactly what music selection we were looking for. He was able to choose the perfect entrance song when we were left clueless and overwhelmed with where to even begin. There services were overall outstanding! From the quick set up and the personality showed throughout the night. We would easily remember there company for future events and not have to worry about an outrageous expense! There services are well worth the price. The entire party was blown away!!

Big Daddy and Debbi were very helpful for the music aspect of my daughters wedding from beginning to end. The night of the BIG wedding was very sucessful due partly to their services. They helped my daughter with song choices and made some very good suggestions to help her through! And when the reception kicked into full gear on the dance floor there was barely a free space. In fact, the crowd begged for more and we decided to keep them around for a little longer! Great job Debbie and Alan we will definately recommend you to friends and family in the future. Big Daddy Walker and his team were perfect. From the first meetings down to the event they worked with us to make our wedding exactly how we wanted it! Our DJ was Tom and everyone loved him! It was a perfect day! They even handled our ceremony music outside!

WOW!!! What a once in lifetime event that Big Daddy Walker Productions was a part of. They were there on time, great people and they help choose the right songs for your wedding that make your wedding a dream come true. The price is great and all the guest loved everything about them. Big Daddy Walker Productions is the best DJ company in the area. They really get to know their customers on a personal level. His prices are VERY reasonable. His online planning website makes it easy for you to plan your big day complete with timeline for the receptions, to must be played songs and even a list for songs that you don't want played under any circumstance. H ekeeps things moving on track and stays in touch with you through the whole process. I wouldn't have haad any other DJ at my big day!
