April was the perfect photographer for our wedding day, and we have already recommended her to several couples! April captured exactly what we had hoped - the fun and lively spirit of our wedding day, and all the important memories that we will have for a lifetime. We are so pleased with her work, and look forward to the opportunity to enlist her services again someday!

April is absolutely FANTASTIC!! She took specific photos that I wanted taken, but she also took some photographs that were absolutely amazing and unexpected. I love how none of her photos look staged, they are all completedly relaxed. You come to find that some of the best photos taken are the photos that you didn't know about, she just snapped a photo while you were walking away. She captures moments that are simply but mean the most.

April traveled to Lexington, Ky. for our October wedding and we had a wonderful time with her as our photographer! She was friendly, creative, flexible!, agreeable, and above all extremely professional! She instantly put everyone at ease and proceeded to work her magic. The pictures she took for us were not only beautiful, but also very artistic. We loved the way she was able to capture every smile (and yes, a few tears as well!) and when the pictures came to us, we were able to relive the entire day all over again! April had a way of tiptoeing around our reception without anyone knowing she was there! She caught every special moment from zipping the dress, to the I dos, our first dance, and cutting the cake. She was a pleasure to work with. Thank you, April!

April was our photographer at our wedding in Cincinnati last September. She was the only photographer I interviewed - I saw her photos on Style Me Pretty blog and after I met with her I was sold! She is so friendly and bubbly, but also laid back and made the entire experience simple and easy. She has great taste (very similar to mine) - and totally understand the bold, modern, urban style I was going for. The day was amazing, and she really captured it all in the photos. I can't thank her enough and would recommend her to anyone who is out there searching for their photographer for their big day.

Our family LOVES April!!! This year April did our engagement photos and photographed our wedding day...which turned out AMAZING. April also photographed my brother's wedding, my sister-in-law's pregnancy, and our twin newphew's first birthday...our family keeps coming back for more because April is just that damn good!! I can sum April up in just one word...AMAZING...but I wont. We did a lot of research for photographers for our wedding but none of them were what we wanted. We didn't want photos that looked like they were taken in a studio- we wanted a photographer who has a vision and could make art out of our wedding day. Once we found April (though still many months from our date) we decided to book her right away. Having your pictures taken can be uncomfortable so we knew we needed someone who would blend in and not make us self-conscious- after all, they are with you ALL DAY! April is truly gifted at connecting with her clients and subjects and makes you feel right at home in front of her camera. She did have to travel to Columbus for our event but she arrived early and had even done some scouting out of a few locations for pictures. While April is very personable, she also gets down to business-which was very important with our ornery wedding party (and some family). She managed to take flawless pictures, while still having a good time with all of us. I would HIGHLY recommend her to anyone looking to have beautiful photos to remember their wedding day. From the moment Ryan and I walked into April's studio, we felt welcome and invited! April was not only a true professional but she cared to get to know us as people and not just future clients. Before even discussing prices or packages, she asked us about how we met and our love story. No one else had done that and it definitely set her apart from the pack! When we started discussing packages, etc. I couldn't help but be in awe of her organization and attention to detail. The packet of information she gave to us (before we had even picked her) was so well put together it quickly became evident to us that April was to be our wedding photographer. From the moment we booked her, she was there for us whenever we had a quick question or needed some advice. She was quick in her responses and her organizational skills continued throughout the planning process to ensure our day ran smoothly. She even was flexible the morning of the wedding when us girls were running behind (what a surprise!). She truly made the day a completely relaxing and enjoyable experience. My favorite quality about April is her ability to capture the truly meaningful moments without being obtrusive and getting in the way of your day. She was an absolute joy to work with and everyone at our wedding couldn't stop singing her praises! You can't go wrong by picking April as your wedding photographer. She truly is in a league all her own. You go girl!

April did our engagement and wedding photos and did a PHENOMENAL job! She was friendly, made us feel comfortable, professional, and flexible. My husband was living out of town at the time, and even during the spring, which is a busy wedding season, she was accommodating in helping us set up an engagement photo session. Furthermore, she captured so many great moments during our wedding day that we may otherwise have forgotten, if not for her! We also loved the fact that she took control of things on our wedding day. The posed pictures went by quickly, and she directed us where we needed to be and when. We can't say enough great things about April, and she continued to exceed our expectations in helping us create an AMAZING wedding album! We will be able to relive our wedding through the beautiful images she captured for us and are very grateful!

We absolutely loved working with April! Our engagement photos and wedding photos were both done by April and were wonderful. We continue to get compliments on our photos all the time. Not only is she a great photographer, but a wonderful person as well. April’s personality and sense of humor made our special day even more memorable as she was so easy to work with, and worked with us as well. My husband and I were in 7 weddings this year, and I heard several times “I wish we had your photographer!”

April is amazing!!! I would highly recommend her if you are really interested in great photos, taken by a very professional person. Everything about our interactions was extremely professional and also very creative. She really wants to take the time to know you as a couple and because of that, really takes great pictures that capture your personality. She was very easy to work with, made everyone feel very comfortable and is very timely. We have only been married for a little over a month and we already have our proofs, finalized our album, got our high res cd and she posted a blog highlight a week after and a really cool slide show a couple weeks ago for our guest to see.

Working with April was the BEST money we spent on our wedding. I have so many friends that have used "high quality/well known" photographers in Cincinnati and still end up disappointed with their pictures. I LOVE my pictures and continually get raving compliments from others.

April was amazing! She know how to make you comfortable and gets the best shots without you even knowing. We were so happy she went to IU for our engagement session and stuck it out in the cold with us on our wedding day. She also has amazing people working with her. She made our wedding day look perfect!

April was fantastic, she is creative and fun to work with. Very organized and prepared. She works very hard to get the best pictures she can and caputre moments you would not have seen otherwise.

April is a truly talented photographer and she did a fabulous job shooting our wedding. The photos are beautiful and I would highly recommend hiring her! The only word of caution that I give is that you will likely spend more money than the package your originally purchase. The first thing to be aware of is that tax is not included in the package price so in my case it added several hundred dollars that I was not expecting. Second, be aware that the sample albums that are shown typically are very expensive albums (contain more photos than included in most packages or have special features that will cost you more). April is worth the money, but just know up front so you don't break your budget later!

Of course the pictures were stunning - just check our her website and you can see her amazing work. But what you can't see is all the details behind the pictures...the way she caught every moment of the day but you never really noticed her, her ability to get even the most un-photogenic people look amazing, her help throught the day on non-photo-related things (where did that cake knife go again?) and her follow-up afterward. 100% recommended

April is a wonderful photographer! My husband and I married on August 8, 2009. She photographed our wedding this past August as well as our engagement session over a year ago. I can't say enough good things about her. She's easy to work with, professional, creative, and has a great eye for detail. I cannot imagine having a more perfect wedding photographer. April was so easy to work with and made me and my camera shy husband very comfortable. She was not only our photographer, but she also doubled as a semi-wedding planner. She helped me to map out my day and did tons over and above her job (holding my crying nephew, fixing the aisle runner when my brothers couldn't!). The pictures look like they came from a magazine even though we were working on a budget. If you are looking into photographers for your wedding, make sure you check Bluebird out, you won't regret it!
