I agree with the last couple of reviews. The actual shop was awesome! Sandra helped me and did an amazing job, in addition to finding my bridesmaid dresses. The alterations department was a different story. They were hard to work with and the ladies at the front were not very friendly. I still gave them a high review despite the setbacks because at the end they provided me with an AMAZING wedding dress and 5 awesome bridesmaid dresses.

Loved my dress, the ladies there were very helpful. My only complaint is that once I decided on a dress I was pressured to pick a veil and head pieces right then and there.

When I went to try on dresses at Wendys Bridal the sales lady was amazing. Even though there were other brides in the store, she made me feel like the most important bride. The dress was more expensive than a dress I liked at Davids Bridal but the shopping experience is worth the cost. I loved the fact that she showed me where the plus size dresses were and let me pick out the ones I liked and that were in my budget. She did offer suggestions but stayed within the budget. The alterations were a nightmare and I strongly recommend going somewhere else. The ladies in the front area were extremely rude and completely not helpful. The lady that actually completed the alterations was not very good. We had to return three more times to have the alterations completed. The alterations were $350 and the dress still did not fit properly. The first visit she measured and pinned for alterations but the second visit she only brought in the sides, she didnt change the bust or the length of the dress. On our final visit the bust was still not right and she said she would have it fixed in 10 mins. 30 mins later it was still not completed. The day of my wedding the bust did not fit properly. The outrageous charge for alterations did not incomplete pressing at the end. The fitting experience was horrible and completely overshadowed the positive experience I had when picking out the dress.

I wish I could give two separate ratings for Wendy's, one for their actual bridal shop and another for their alterations store. For the actual store, I would give 5 stars on all counts. They were very friendly and know what they're talking about. I don't know where I would be without the sales assistant I ended up with because she ended up picking out the dress I wore on my wedding day, I really didn't want a ribbon belt but she convinced me to try a dress with one on and I fell in love with it. They even let me buy the sample dress which really helped with the cost. Now, for the alterations department, I would give a three on all counts. They are not very friendly there, they are very curt and make you feel stupid if you ask any questions. The girls working the front desk do not know what they are doing, I called to schedule an appointment and when I showed up they didn't have my dress at the store and I had to reschedule. The cost for altering bridesmaids dresses is way too high, do not have them done there. Pick them up and take them elsewhere, you can get it done for a lot cheaper and probably deal with much friendlier people. They also ended up firing the lady who was working on my dress before she even finished working on it, it almost wasn't ready in time! So to summarize, I would buy dresses from them again, but get my dress altered elsewhere.

After looking at only a couple other stores, I ended up finding my dress at Cincinnati Bride (before it became Wendy's Cincinnati Bride). I worked with a great consultant who I felt had my best interest in mind. After finding my dress, we began the unfortunately frustrating hunt for bridesmaid dresses. My sisters had picked one out they liked at Wendy's bridal but once the stores merged, the dress was no where in site. Therefore, we ended up driving to Chilicothe, Ohio to see the dress and have them try it on. The customer service and attention to detail were definitely lacking at Cincinnati Bride. Everytime one of my bridesmaids called to place their order, they were either told to call back or had to wait awhile before someone could assist them. I don't think I'd recommend using this place because of their lack of customer service and attention to their customers' needs.

I purchased my veil and headband at Wendy's. Unfortunately, I was not told that my headband was backordered, until it was getting closer and closer to the big day. I ordered the pieces about 3 months prior to our date, and they finally arrived approximately 2 weeks before my wedding. The headband was broken when taken out of the bag for my hair trial. Wendy's ordered a new one, and two days before my wedding, this 2nd headband was also broken. The staff at Wendy's was absolutely great in dealing with a frantic bride! They let me choose a different style in their store that day. The staff at the main store was more than fantastic! However, the staff at the alterations department, which is where you pick up your orders, needs to communicate a little better.

I spent 4 months looking for my wedding dress. Wendy was one of the first places i went to and eventually came back and got one of the first dresses I tried on. I loved it!

Purchased my wedding gown at Wendy's Cincinnati Bride. Great service and selection. I wanted to order my gown 2 sizes smaller than I was at the time, because I was working on losing weight, and they would only order it one size smaller for me. I ended up having to pay to have it taken in an additional 4 inches. Other than not ordering the size I wanted, everything else at Wendy's Cincinnati Bride was great!

They were so very helpful with wedding dress shopping and bridesmaids dresses. There is a large selection and they do not pressure you to buy on the spot. She really wanted me to be sure and confident in my decision. I am so happy I bought there and the dress was worth it. Great dress for a fair price!

I am so glad I found this wonderful store!!! I wasn't impressed by David's Bridal at all. The moment I walked into Cincinnati Bride, I had the best service the entire time and ended up buying my dream wedding dress from them. Total I paid including dress, under garments, headpiece, and vale was around $1400 which is pretty good! They have a great selection and I was so happy with my entire experience. Our sales lady was the BEST!!! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. I shopped there on a weekday when there was barely anyone in there!

I am from Reading, Ohio and wanted to support our local bridal businesses for my wedding.Cincinnati Bride made that very possible with their great assortment of dresses and very helpful staff. Other stores made me stand in an open room and try on dresses in front of strangers. Cincinnati Bride let me family and I pick out lots of dresses to try on (and we came back more than once) and had large fitting rooms so I could get dressed in privacy. They also kept track of what dresses I liked for free (some places charge money for this!!). One thing that drives me crazy about most wedding dress stores (except David's Bridal) is that they won't let you take pictures or even write down the dress information. All these designers have their dresses online anyway- I don't understand what the big deal is for me to be able to compare dresses to pick out which one I like. (I had the problem of liking what ever dress I was currently wearing which made it very hard to pick!).They were also very accommodating when I realized my bra was too big- they stopped selling that particular one so they exchanged it for a more expensive one at no extra cost. They also exchanged my slip for a lighter one.Overall I am happy with my dress and the service I received.

I was greeted right when i walked in the door, but not smothered like a lot of places do. The woman that helped me knew exactly what size I was just by looking at me. Once my friends and I picked several dresses, she started picking out dresses as well that were similar to the styles that we had picked. My dress was the second one i tried on (one that the woman helping me picked out!). THey are very helpful and very informative! It was the perfect dress!

Very nice people with very reasonably price dresses!

I went into Cincinnati Bride w/ my Bmaid in search of a bmaid dress. I had no intention of looking for a dress; yet. However, my bmaid and I decided to look. I found a dress that I was 'ok' with, but thought I would try on w/ some others... This one I FELL in LOVE with.. So I wanted to discuss pricing. The lady told me that the zipper was broken and the dress was discontinued. She stated the price was 999.00, but she would give me 35% off due to those facts. Well I was leary; so when I got home I called the designer. Come to find out; the dress WAS NOT discontinued and wasn't to 'retail' for more than 750.00... I was HOT; so I decided to ignore all calls from this vendor... They were holding the dress for, but I never went back. I found the dress BRAND NEW for 599.00 which included all shipping and taxes. The other issue w/ this vendor is that; they aren't very nice to the brides to be and have soooooo many brides in there at once that it's a line waiting for a room and to show their family their dresses... it was a nightmare.

My Dress was great. The service was great. It just took forever to get my dress. But I did get it in time. So all is well that ends well. :)

Enjoyed my visit and found my dress. The attendant ordered me the wrong size because she failed to measure the crucial areas for the specific dress. The slip was also ordered in a size too small and they do not allow for returns so we were stuck with a very expensive slip that we couldn't stretch over my shoulders without a fight that left me red all over!

What a great experience! I drove out to Cincinnati to hopefully find my dream dress and I did just that at Cincinnati Bride! The ladies were so nice and concerned with what I wanted rather than just trying to make a sale. I went across the street and they kept throwing dresses at me that I had NO desire trying on. I explained what I wanted in a dress and the ladies at Cinci Bride found me the dress of my dreams. It turned out beautiful and I couldn't have had a better experience!

I loved the dress I received, especially for the cost, but it came in 2 months later than it was supposed to.

Love my dress...everyone was so helpful in picking it out!

Great price...great customer service. I bought a dress and had it altered to suit the unique features I wanted. A wonderful experience!
