Brad was our DJ for the night and he was so awesome!!! He kept the night moving, like we had asked, to get through all the formalities so we could get on the dance floor. The music was great and the dance floor was packed from the time the dancing started till the end of the reception. We could not have asked for anything more and would definetly book him again!!! Brad was amazing!! Yet another one of our vendors that we simply booked over the phone as part of our long distance planning initiative. My husband and I were very strong about having a DJ that respected that we were more about the party and the guests - not about having an MC orchestrating a bunch of events that took away from key dancing time! Brad totally got that and understood the vibe that we were going for. We felt completely comfortable booking with him and his level of professionalism was outstanding! After signing a contract he sent us this complete packet that included lists of popular songs from every single era going back to the 50s; divided by sub-categories such as First Dance, Entrance Songs, etc. I actually never had to reach out to Brad to schedule follow-up appointments - he was way ahead of me! Brad was able to accommodate a last minute dance change (two days before the wedding) and there was no hiccup the day of. He did such an awesome job of reading the crowd and the dance floor was packed all night! So much for my silly secret fear that no one would dance. Brad is a great, genuine guy who enjoys what he does and just wants people to have a good time. The fact that he does this for much less than what other people in the area do is just an added bonus. Brad was great! We planned from out of town and he was so flexible in meeting us every time we needed to see him. He was always very professional and definitely kept the guests on the dance floor the whole night. He even stayed the extra hour that we extended the reception without a problem! Overall, very happy with our DJ selection.

Brad and Chris were great from the beginning. Brad runs the company and was great to work with, and Chris executed the plan flawlessly on the night of our wedding. Both were there from the first meeting, so you always were in contact with the owner of the company and the DJ for your event.

Brad was awesome with the music choices and everything else. i left much of the choices up to him and he had the guests dancing all night long. he was polite, professional, and is everything else that you want in a great DJ. the speakers sounded great and the AV equipment was exactly what i was looking for. i would highly recommend him....

We first saw Brad at our brother/brother-in-law’s wedding last summer and thought he was excellent. After comparing Queen City DJ’s with a few others in the area, the decision was easy, and we’re thrilled we went with him. During our consultations with Brad before the event, he made sure he was capturing exactly the type of playlist for the mood we wanted for the evening and provided great help in putting together a timeline, as well. He introduced himself to the wedding party beforehand, did a last-minute check to make sure we had everything right, and gave the wedding party a great introduction. The dinner music was perfect. As for the dancing, Brad kept the party going all evening. The song selection and order were impeccable, transitions seamless, and vibe as fun as could be. He flawlessly integrated the songs we wanted with requests and other songs that fit the atmosphere. Brad never made himself part of the show- as DJs unfortunately often do- but made the evening all about our families and friends. Three weeks later, people keep telling us how wonderful the dinner and dancing music were and how much fun they had. And we’ve already been asked by virtually all of our engaged friends for his information. We had Brad from Queen City DJ's as the DJ at our wedding on 7/30/2011, and we loved him! He was very helpful and easy to work with. He stayed on top of everything and contacted me to set up meetings before I had to contact him, so it was great that I didn't have to worry about that. I'm not a big fan of cheesy weddings, and I wanted my wedding to be elegant and Brad made sure that was the case. He was very professional and followed our play list and added a couple songs that fit in with our music taste perfectly. He helped coordinate our reception timeline and kept everything flowing smoothly and even got drinks from the bar for the bridal party during dinner when we couldn't make it to the bar. We couldn't be happier with our choice of wedding DJ and would recommend him to everyone!

We worked with Brad from Queen City DJs and he was fantastic. The online system was extremely easy to use and helped me to plan my ceremony. Brad met with us once and then took the time to chat with me on the phone as well to finalize everything. He provided music and microphones for the ceremony. We first heard Queen City DJs at my cousin's wedding. The DJ was Brad, and we thought he did a great job, so we booked him for our wedding a year later. We made a great decision and were very happy with how our wedding turned out! :) Brad was great from start to finish. When I first called to inquire about his services, he sent a portfolio and contract with all the information that I requested RIGHT AWAY! I was very impressed with his professionalism and responsiveness. Once we booked Queen City DJs, everything went smoothly. They offer an online event planning system, where you can enter songs that you want on your wedding playlist as you think of them throughout the months before your wedding! Brad was great in accommodating our music requests, and downloaded any songs that we requested that he didn't already have for free! He did a great job capturing the mood of the evening, and was wonderful at balancing our original playlist that we created for the wedding, with our guests' requests throughout the night. We heard from countless guests how fun our wedding was, and that it was one of the best weddings they'd ever been to... and everyone attributed this to the dance floor! It was packed from start to finish, which shows you how great Queen City DJs was! His pricing is very affordable, and it seemed like a great value compared to other DJs that we looked into!

Brad did an amazing job at our wedding. In addition to our songs, all we gave him was a "do not play" list, and a "must play" list. From these, he played exactly what we wanted. He was there at the door ready for us and made us all feel totally at ease with how the night would go. He is such an experienced DJ, he gave us some awesome suggestions without pressuring us one way or another. I have recommended him to many brides to be. His cost was very reasonable and he was easy to contact and easy to get in touch with. I am a huge believer that the DJ can make or break your wedding, and Brad definitely made ours! We had Jimmy Rack as our DJ for our wedding, although we worked with him as well as Brad in planning the details. We requested/suggested a good number of songs to be played and trusted Jimmy to fill out the rest of the time based on what went over well and what didn't. He did an AMAZING job at this - the dance floor was packed from the first song to the last (there was a bar, this helped I think). Every guest told the bride how beautiful she looked, they told me the wedding was one of if not the most fun wedding they'd been to. I could hardly have asked for more from Jimmy - he was dressed professionally, set his equipment up early and inconspicuously, and honored our "do not play" list. He did mispronounce one of the names of a groomsman, but to be fair it was a pretty tricky name. I highly highly recommend Queen City DJ's - they are not only affordable, they are FUN on the big day, and they will make you feel relaxed for the two weeks before it (or at least, as close to relaxed as you can be).

All of the guests at our wedding still talk about how our introductions (Jimmy Rack's - DJ's idea) were the best they'd ever seen and how much fun our reception was. I credit a lot of that to Jimmy for keeping the party going. Not once from the first to last dance was our dance floor even close to empty. Some of the other DJs we interviewed had a very set structure for how they ran the show, but Queen City Dj's was all about customizing the night to our personalities and had many fun and creative ideas. It was those little things that helped make the evening memorable and are the same things that people still bring up when they talk about our wedding. One of my bridesmaids ended up using Queen City Dj's after seeing them at my wedding. I would recommend Jimmy Rack and Queen City Dj's to any bride in the Cincinnati area! Thank You!

As far as wedding vendors go the DJ is one of the most affordable and one that makes a huge impact. Brad Berry really went above and beyond in making our reception everything we wanted and also unforgettable for everyone there. One of the florists we met with suggested Brad and we didn't have to talk to many other DJs before we made our decision. One of the things we liked about Queen City DJs is that the guy we were talking to would be our actual DJ. Some other companies have tons of DJs and you never actually know who you will have. I never really give the DJ much thought until I read countless horror stories online. I felt confident with Brad and knew he would do a great job. He also met with us again just so my parents could get to know him. Our reception venue had built in surround sound so we also liked the fact that Queen City DJs had a basic package and then lots of additional options (that we didn't need). A lot of DJs we spoke with charge you for the extra speakers even if you don't need them. I liked the fact that Queen City DJs has a private client website where you can add "must play" "maybe play" and "don't play" songs. We could never really get this to work right so it was also nice that Brad was flexible and allowed me to just email him a list. We wanted our wedding to be unique to us and Brad was very accommodating. My groom's grandpa used to call square dances so Brad worked with him to pick songs and get everything ready for us to all try a square dance. No one was very good at it but we had a great time anyway! My family also loves Disney songs and Brad played instrumental Disney songs during the cocktail hour and other Disney love songs during dinner. We had so many people comment on how special and how "us" it was and I am so glad Brad was so helpful (I'm sure he doesn't get many requests for Disney!) Brad also did a great job being our MC and didn't get annoyed when I came up to him several times to make announcements. I would definitely recommend Queen City DJs to everyone I know! Thanks Brad!!

Brad was so helpful throughout the entire process. He helped us plan order and logistics for the reception and found us the perfect musician for the ceremony and cocktail hour. He did a great job merging our sometimes nontraditional tastes with music everyone would want to hear and the dance floor was packed all night! He even checked on me several times to make sure I was doing ok (definitely not the DJs job but so appreciated!). He was also very responsive! I've never had someone respond so quickly to emails and phone calls. After our experience and the great time everyone had at our wedding, my sister in law and her fiancee are using him for their wedding as well.

Holy smokes were we impressed by Queen City Dj's and our DJ, Brad Berry! During our pre-event and day-of meetings with Brad, he really picked up on exactly what we were looking for in an emcee and a DJ. On the day of the event, Brad was perfect - kept the evening moving, was never overbearing, very flexible, and had a good, sensible sense of humor. He never came close to detracting from our event and added value that we did not even expect (e.g., checking on the bridal party to make sure that we had everything we needed, etc.) Furthermore, he really nailed it with the songs that he picked to supplement our songs.
