The Flowerman

Our flowers were gorgeous. I absolutely loved them. We ordered the majority of our flowers in bulk and made the arrangements on our own and the team at The Flowerman was more then willing to help us get the flowers together and ready for us to take. The designer did make my bouquet and it was perfect. I can't imagine it being more perfect.

If you want beautiful, affordable flower's the way you want them... This is the place! Allso, it's an apportunity to spend time /w your Bridal Party & a learning exsperience! Plus you get to take home the left over flowers that you don't use!

The Flowerman70 Westpark Rd Suite A, Centerville, OH 937-433-8610We used The Flowerman’s DIY service. I met with Stephanie to pick out the flowers to be used. She was helpful since I was indecisive in this area. In the DYI section there were two people to help show us what to do and how to do it if we needed/wanted the help. By making the bouquets, boutineers, corsages, and unity candle piece ourselves I was able to pay for my bouquet to be freeze dried to have forever. Payment is needed in full two weeks before the event which is when the appointment time is needed for the DYI flowers. Flowers are put together the Thursday before the event. The reminder call had the wrong appointment time. I left a message about this and did not receive a return call. The only disappointment was that the stephanotis flowers (delicate white flowers) ended up turning a little brown by the time I got the items on Saturday. We had 5 vases that were returned that Monday by my MOH. She said that they didn’t really look at my file to check off the items until she stated that she wanted it noted so I would not be charged for a non-return.

The flowerman is amazing! There staff is very knowledgeable. Went there with a picture of what I wanted and they knew all of the flowers.. I went to some flower shops and they had no idea what kind of flowers some of them were. They have options were you can have the designer make all of the flower bouquets and centerpieces, you can make all of the flower bouquets and centerpieces, or you can have it split up. They work with you in every way to make you happy!I made all of mine and oh what a fun day it was! We all had a great time

I worked with Cady and she was amazing. I was a very unsure bride about flowers and what exactly I really wanted. She helped me out so much in making decision and telling me if things were going to be way too expensive to do. They made all my bouquets and flowerballs for the isles and they turned out amazing!! All the flowers looked great and everyone there was so pleasant to work with!

The flowers were very pretty but some of the flowers that I ordered were not right. I ordered purple hydrangeas and that is not what I received. They were white and sprayed purple on the tops, I was told I would have a dark purple hydrangea not purple and white. Also my vases were broke before the wedding. I was thankful that you replaced them put they were not replaced with the same type of vase. Due to the problems with that my wedding ran 25min late. I just feel that customers’ orders and person property should be handled with more care.

We had an absolutely great experience with the flowerman minus a few small details. The flowers were great, and being able to build for my own wedding was awesome! I personally had an input in every detail with my wedding including the flowers! The only complaint I would have is a representative informing us of things that would work months in advance and then the day before informing us that it wouldnt work and we would have to find an alternate route to do this decor. Overall, I do not have many complaints at all! It is truly a unique & worthwhile experience!

For my daughter's wedding - Alicia Evans: We loved putting the flowers together at flowerman - what a great and fun experience! We loved it! We liked having the other bride's groups around us to see what they were doing! Beth Mills was our coach and she did an awesome job and was very nice and helpful and patient. She made us laugh and we were able to relax putting the bouquets, etc together. Beth is good at what she does - she made it look so easy and she had great ideas! The only problem we ran into was the next day when my husband went to pick them up. He was there for at least 30 min if not longer. Beth had put them all together so we could get them quickly - but that did not happen. We were on a time crunch to get the flowers back to Hamilton and did not expect this delay. They first gave him the buckets of flowers and my husband, Danny, said there is more. My wife said we would have 3 buckets of flowers and 2 long boxes. So the gentleman goes back and looks again and took a while looking and then comes out with one long box with the corsages & boutineers and Danny said there is another one with the bridesmaid's bouquets also. So after a while, he comes out with it. Then they load them in the car and as he was pulling off - someone knocked on his window and said "you have the green buckets" and we have to switch them .. you can't take the green buckets you have to take the white buckets". At this point, my husband was getting very frustrated.. so they had to be switched. He asked the gentleman if we needed to bring back the white buckets and he said yes. Then .. Danny said why does it matter then? I will bring either back - I just need to get going! So this long delay .. caused us to run late to the venue to get the flowers there for pics before the wedding. Other than that.. everyone loved the pink gerber daisies and the bouquets and the bridal bouquet. A lot of people asked us where we got our flowers and we told them the flowerman. We would def recommend u all!

Best thing about The Flowerman, is definitely the price. You can not beat the DIY pricing. Constructing the flowers is also a fun bonding experience for your bridal party. However, I think they may be over committed or possibly growing faster than they can keep up with customer service. There were several mix-ups throughout my planning process. They were resolved in a timely matter but definitely threw temporary wrenches in the plans. On our day of construction(day before wedding), some flowers were not ordered from my bridesmaids bouquets. They finished them later that night and were ready for pickup wedding day morning. I would recommend again, especially for brides on a budget, I would just make sure to keep copies of all communication (emails, invoices, etc) and just be sure to keep asking questions and verifying things.

I would recommend The Flowerman to any bride. My flowers were absolutely beautiful for my wedding and it was nice to take a few hours the day before the wedding and spend time with my bridesmaids and mothers doing something fun! Heather was very helpful and friendly with a lot of great ideas!

Two Words...... SIMPLE AMAZING! Saved lots of money and had so much fun with my family making the flowers! The delivery was on time and perfect. I could not be happier with my Florist Choice, CHEERS!

Be prepared to spend a few hours at the factory if you opt to do any of your arrangements yourself. It was a great time to spend with family or friends but it can become a bit chaotic when dealing with several bridal parties all doing their flowers at the same time. The staff was helpful but some of the members became a little aggravated as the morning got busier. All in all I was happy with how things turned out. Most of the staff was a joy to work with and made the experience fun and I learned a lot.

I did the DIY option and had so much fun! Everyone was very nice and helpful. I loved every minute of it and would recommend this option to anyone!

I did the make your own option. When I had my consultation to order my flowers, I was never told that they type of flower would not work in boutonnieres. When I arrived to make everything, a new employee said that they would not work. Luckily that employee was very helpful in getting us good roses to use. Overall the experience was good. Employees need to tell brides if a flower is not available or will not work for what they want it for. I had a friend order flowers there also and was not told until a week before her wedding that the flowers she ordered are out of season and she would have to change her order. I also had a friend who attempted to order her flowers there but never got a response from anyone and when she finally did they were rude.

A friend of mine used The Flowerman for her wedding and I found that this would be the best route for me to go for my recent wedding. We did the DIY option and my bridesmaids and I had a great time making the bouquets and centerpieces. I thought the flowers looked beautiful and I was very happy with the results. There was a problem with one of the flowers I had originally ordered and they came up with various solutions to the problem. I recommend using The Flowerman to save money and to take a hand-on approach to one of the important parts of your day...the beautiful flowers!

Make sure you take pictures and know what you are getting! The flowers that we got were great and they were very informative for us as of how to store the flowers and treat them on our hot wedding day...but they forgot to paint the tips of some of my roses which isn't a huge deal but is a little aggrivating. Also they were not very descriptive on their swag so we were very disappointed in what we recieved. Just make sure you have pictures so there are no confusions. Other then that, they worked really well with us and changed and added things many times!

Don't get me wrong...my flowers turned out GREAT! And I wouldn't have chose to go any other route. It's just unfortunate that Stephanie the DYI consultant doesn't know how to return phone messages or emails. I was ready to go from the begining and never got a call or email back. Then after I made my deposit I never got a contract in the mail. I never to this day have a contract signed by both parties, but somehow my flowers were there and ready. I was unhappy with the color of the calla lillies at first as they were supposed to be orange and turned out red/yellow. However they had orange spray paint. At first I was nervous they would look fake and felt they did when I left, but when my friend brought them to me on wedding day they had time to set and looked AMAZING!!! The flowers were one of my favorite things on my wedding day which was funny as they were definitely not a huge priority on the planning list. Overall if you are creative like me and doing crafy projects actually relaxes you then I would definitely reccomend going with the Flowerman and getting the DIY package. It was a lot of fun and I'm having my bouquet preserved because it turned out so well!

I have heard nothing but good things about the Flowerman, so i decided to use them for the wedding. but the day i went in to put everything together not a single flower that i ordered was correct. they all came in wrong from the growers and no one even called to tell me they were wrong. i found out only 2 days before the wedding and had to spend the whole morning going through what they had in stock that would 'work' for me to use. it was awful! the wost part is that when i placed my order they NEVER once told me that what i wanted was out of season or would be hard to get. if i would have known up front i would had ordered something different to save myself from having an issue like this.

This was a fun and affordable way to do flowers for a wedding. I recommend this DIY option to everyone!

We were unsure about making bouquets, centerpieces, etc ourselves for the wedding, but we are glad we did! After ordering the flowers I wanted for a fraction of the price they would normally be at a florist, I signed up for the flower-making class they offer. I had no idea how much skill it took to make bouquets, but the class prepared me for actually making everything for the wedding. The Thursday before the wedding I showed up with my Mom & bridesmaids and everything went seamlessly. It took about 4 hours, but the staff at the Flowerman was very accomodating and helpful. Our flowers were beautiful, and the Flowerman delivered them to us right on time the morning of the wedding. Highly recommend!
