Kristen did an all around excellent job. She was always there when I needed her and took care of things I didn't even know needed taking care of! As a planner by nature, it was wondeful to let her take over and worry about all the details. I highly recommend her to anyone who is seeking a wedding planner.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about having Kristen and Rick of Tres Chic as our day-of wedding coordinating team. We booked them well in advance for the day-of coordinating package, but Kristen really helped me throughout the whole planning process, always promptly answering any emails I sent her way about vendors, schedules, etc. Besides my husband and I, my parents were especially grateful for Kristen and Rick's assistance on the day of the wedding, as they too were able to truly enjoy the wedding day, knowing that everything the parents of the bride would ordinarily have to worry about was already taken care of by this dynamic duo. I highly recommend them to any tri-state bride!

Kristen was my day of coordinator and really REALLY took care of me. I could not have survived the day without her. She even had her assistant run out and get my groom a snack when he started getting cranky because he was hungry. Now THATS going above and beyond. She even helped me stay relatively calm throughout the day and organized my unruly wedding party, and helped us clean up at the end of the night. I love love love her and would highly recommended her services.

I believe Tres Chic Event Planning was the first vendor I booked and the one I was probably most happy with. I wasn't convinced I needed a "planner" but since I was planning from out of town, felt it probably couldn't hurt. I booked their Day Of package and got much more for my money. Kristen was on top of everything and extremely organized. I was able to completely sit back, relax and enjoy every second of our wedding day - and so was my mom which was very important to me. Kristen and Rick went over and beyond in what my husband and I were expecting and I cannot sing their praises enough. We recently watched our wedding video for the first time with a group of people and someone said - "who put that flower on your toasting flute?" I said, "I have no idea, must have been Kristen!" I mean if she thought of adding an adorable flower on the side of our toasting flutes during toasts (just to make it look pretty), can you imagine how the entire day went? Money very well spent.

Kristen is AMAZING! I had to move out of state in the middle of planning our wedding, and Kristen really helped me feel comfortable with all that we were doing. She worked with my mom to visit the reception location and worked with my vendors on face-to-face meetings when I was unavailable to fly home. She is great at set-up and design of the reception - and has great ideas on flowers and centerpieces. Our entire look/feel for the reception was her idea, and I loved it! She's is quietly behind the scenes on the day of the wedding, making sure everything is running smoothly. If something went wrong that day or was incorrect, I didn't know it because she took care of everything! Her husband Rick is great too - he helps with the set-up and makes sure the guys are dressed properly and ready to go! Please use Tres Chic - you will not regret it!

O.M.G. Book Kristen, and book her NOW. I BPH (big puffy heart) Kristen. I honestly do not know how our wedding would have happened if it were not for Kristen and her fabulous husband Rick. Kristen took everything off my hands Thursday afternoon before our Saturday wedding, and it was fantastic. All I had to do was show up and smile. Fantastic! Either she or the CC (in any case, I’m sure she supervised) handled the set up of our semi-elaborate table scheme, including personalized menu/place cards, favors, candles, etc. And when I forgot to mark the table cards with guests’ meal choice (oops!), Kristen took care of it for me. They also packed up everything at the end of the night. Oh, and when “fights” broke out between what Joe and I wanted and what our officiant wanted, Kristen handled it. I love her for that, really I do. Again, BOOK HER!We booked Kristen before her rates increased, so we REALLY got a deal. Even at her new rates, the peace of mind she provides is worth it.I’m surprised Kristen doesn’t have a full head of grey hair after dealing with our wedding and all the changes, but she handled it all with a smile. Again, I BPH Kristen.

FABULOUS! Kristen was always available to meet and talk. She suggested vendors and guided me what I wanted. She read me pretty quickly and knew right away what my taste was. It also helped that we have similar taste, so it worked out beautifully. And the day of? I didn't worry about a darn thing! I didn't set up the reception hall, I didn't pick up flowers, I didn't worry about the timeline, I didn't worry about the slideshow, I didn't set up for the cocktail hour, I didn't set up chairs for the ceremony, I didn't tear down chairs after the ceremony...I didn't worry about a thing! you know who did all that? kristen! I should add that kristen's husband also was a huge help the day of too. While Kristen was setting up the reception and cocktail, etc, her husband stayed with the wedding party to keep us on track.

We booked Kristen of Tres Chic late in the planning process--about 3 months from our wedding date--because I was feeling overwhelmed and realized I wanted someone else to handle the details of the day. Kristen did not disappoint. She and her husband Rick were invaluable the day of our wedding, tending to small details while we were able to relax and thoroughly enjoy the moments of our day. I had many family members comment weeks after about how we could not have made it through the day without Kristen and Rick. The added bonus of a pre-wedding massage that we received in the package we contracted with them was such a pleasure. It was a wonderful way to set the tone of relaxation and enjoyment of our wedding day. I highly recommend Tres Chic Event Planning.

I have said it before and I will say it again: hiring Kristen (and Rick!) was the second best decision I made in my wedding planning process, second only to choice of groom. I found Kristen to be responsive and professional throughout my planning, and even though I only opted for a day of coordination package, she still helped me find a ceremony musician, gave me templates for menus and programs, and provided me with moral support and a level head when a few things went awry. Being able to use her vases and table overlays saved me untold amounts of money, and her flexibility and willingness to work with me was so appreciated. The day of the wedding, my husband and I, and our wedding party, literally didn't need to lift a finger, and they are still raving about Kristen and Rick to our friends and family, a month later. While we relaxed and had photos taken, Kristen and Rick made centerpieces, decorated our cake, set up chairs for the ceremony, transformed the room into the reception, provided us with drinks and appetizers during photos... I could go on and on. At the end of the night, we were able to leave our reception and go on our merry way without needing to tear down anything at the venue. Our friends and family got to enjoy, rather than work at our wedding, which was totally worth it.As skeptical as my husband was about hiring a wedding planner, he now admits to anyone who will listen that hiring Kristen and Rick was one of the best things we did at our wedding. I would highly, highly recommend them to anyone.

Kristen was amazing! She was always there with an answer or suggestion when I needed one and she never tried to push me to do something I did not want to do. The day of the wedding went so smoothly because she was there to make sure everything went according to plan.

Kristen was the perfect solution to my wedding concerns--I was only one person carrying the load of wedding planning and coordinating and I needed HELP. She was excellent to vent to, she offered suggestions, she researched vendors for me, she helped with so many last minute issues, and she took care to make sure that every moment of my wedding weekend was completely and totally 100% smooth and memorable.For me, it was worth the investment in having help. I cannot see how anyone does this alone.

Kristen and Rick were indespensable the day of the wedding. They kept us on track, and kept everything running smoothly. The small problems that cropped up were handled with ease. Kristen was a huge help leading up to the day, and Rick was an incredibly soothing presence the weekend of the wedding.
